Over time, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) batteries wear out leading to loss of power capacity and runtime. The Charge-UPS program is designed to provide end-users the ability to refurbish their existing APC UPS units to a "like new" condition.
APC UPS units that are six years of age or less (serial numbers 9501 or younger), can receive new user-replaceable, premium batteries AND reactivate the two-year warranty on the complete UPS.
